Volunteer Research Internship Program

Research Opportunity at North Shore University Hospital – Manhasset, NY.

The Volunteer Research Internship Program, in the Department of
Emergency Medicine at North Shore University Hospital, is seeking
bright, ambitious, and self-motivated university students who are
eager to gain experience in the medical field. While not exclusive to
premedical students, we are selecting mature candidates who
demonstrate exceptional character and ambition.
Selected candidates will serve as volunteer interns on research
projects in the Emergency Department.
Tasks include:
¨ Patient identification and enrollment into clinical studies
¨ Data management (including data collection and entry, database
creation, and analysis – computer proficiency is necessary)
¨ Opportunities to increase knowledge of medical professions via
attending lectures … and much more!

We are now filling positions for the 2008/2009 Academic Year.
If you are interested in the program, please send a cover letter and
